Applications:

  • Lacquer KO-916A is designed for production of fiberglass- insulated winding wires and heat-resistant wires and cables with fiberglass proofing.
  • The KO-916A coating shows high durability, weather and moisture resistance, resistance to attack of oil, heat, and gasoline.

  • Lacquer KO-916K serves for impregnation of winding of electric apparatus, transformers with class H insulation, electrical machines and apparates with tropicalized and maritime construction.
  • The lacquer is successfully used for repairs of load-lifting magnets, coils of electromagnetic separators as well as redesign and repairs of electrical machines.

  3. ELECTRIC INSULATING LACQUER KO-921


     Description: Lacquer KO-921 is a clear homogenous solution of polymethylphenylsilxane resin in organic solvents. Polymethylphenylsiloxane resin is obtained by hydrolytic co-condensation of phenyltrichlorosilane and dimethyldichlorosilane with further polymerization.

Applications:

  • Lacquer KO-921 is distinguished by its low drying temperature, good dielectric properties, moisture and heat resistance.
  • The product serves for impregnation of glass winding of wires and cables. It is also used as impregnating and coating lacquer, operating at 250ºC.
  • The product is widely used for protection of electric machines and apparatus from mold and fungi.
  • In food industry, the lacquer is used as release agent for metal forms for baking meat as well as protective coat for metal forms for baking bread and biscuits.

  4. ELECTRIC INSULATING LACQUER KO-922


     Description: Lacquer KO-922 is a clear, homogenous solution of silicone resine in xylene or toluene obtained by hydrolytic co-condensation of phenyltrichlorosilane and dimethyldichlorosilane with further polymerization.

Applications:

  • Lacquer KO-923 possesses high dielectric properties, good adhesive and impregnating ability.
  • Lacquer KO-923 is used for impregnation of winding of electric machines and apparatus operating at 180-220ºC under high humidity conditions.
  • It also serves for preparation of protective heat-resistant enamels continuously operating at 80-220ºC and at 250-300ºC for a short time.
  • Lacquer KO-922 is widely used as antirust coating for metal surfaces.

  7. INSULATING COMPOUND K-43


     Description: oligosiloxane obtained by partial condensation of co-hydrolysates, a clear viscous fluid of light yellow to brown color.

  • catalyst is not in delivery set of compound.

  • KO-915B is also used in the manufacture of glass fabrics, glass fiber- insulated wires, insulating enamels.

  9. ELECTRIC INSULATING LACQUER KO-991-4


     Description: solution of silicone resin in organic solvents.

Applications:

  • Lacquer KO-991-4 is used with addition of drying catalyst 64B , or ZK-1, or ZK-12:
    • 64B is introduced 12 hrs before the use of the lacquer at the rate of 6% to the base of lacquer and thoroughly stirred,
    • ZK-1 and ZK-12 is introduced in the lacquer direct before use at the ratio ZK-1 /lacquer as 5,2 g/100 g und ZK-12/ lacquer as 2,6 g/100 g. The rate of ZK-1 can be reduced to 50% to improve adhesion of the lacquer to the substrate.
  • Due to high adhesive capacity, KO-991-4 is used in the manufacture of mica-based insulating materials and glass fabrics.
Notes:
The use of KO-991-4 without drying catalyst is also possible.
This is responsibility of customer to specify the storage time of the lacquer with added promoter and fix it in the application instruction.
