The addition of fillers to silicone oils permits to obtain silicone petrolatum and pastes with a variety of properties. The obtained compounds are water-repellent and chemically inert, possess excellent dielectric characteristics which have very low dependence on temperature. Their consistency is constant over a large range of temperature.

Due to the above, the petrolatum and pastes find the application in radio- and electrical engineering, electronics and as dielectrics in production of polymeric materials.

  1. DIELECTRIC PETROLATUM KV-3/10E


High-viscose paste of grey color obtained by bodying dimethyl silicone fluid.

  3. THERMAL INTERFACE PASTE KPT-8


High-viscose thermal paste of white color obtained by bodying dimethyl silicone fluid.

Paste KPT-8 is chemically inert, explosion-proof, nonflammable, produces no irritating nor poisoning action to human health.

Applications:

  • It provides an effective thermal contact between two bonding/attaching surfaces in electronic devices, household appliances, considerably reducing contact thermal resistance, so is recommended for applications at temperatures within the range of 60 to 180ºC .
